Friends Association
The Friends Association actively supports the school through fund raising events. In conjunction with the school, the money raised is used to help finance extras that enhance the lives of all the children. These extras include:
Playground Equipment and Art
Punch and Judy Shows
Visits from the Life Bus
Play house for Reception
Themed workshops
We are currently raising funds for a Shade Sail and Ball Shooter for the play ground, as well as planning for a visiting Theatre group to come and perform this Christmas.
So far this year we have raised £1385 through our Christmas fair, Halloween and Spring Discos, Mufti Days and Ladies Only Pamper Evening.
Our next event is the annual Summer fair and BBQ which will be held on Friday 3rd July 2009. Attractions will include bouncy castle, Tin Can Tower, Football Tombola, Tattoos, face painting, Grand Raffle, Cake stall, Fully licensed bar and much more.....
The success of Friends depends entirely on the support of all parents and staff and we are always very appreciative of their support. Please bring along your family and friends to our events and if you would like to come and help please do not hesitate in speaking to one of the committee members or pop along to one of our regular meetings (look at our notice board for more info). Its a chance for you to take an active role in school life and meet other parents and carers.
