Head Teacher's Welcome
On behalf of myself and the school, I'd like to welcome you to our school website.
Our children and the community that works with Raunds Park Infant School are incredible. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming and fun school, where children enjoy coming to school to learn through a wide range of experiences and an amazing curriculum. Our school is a small school, with only 5 classes, ranging from age 4 to 7 (EYFS to Year 2) meaning that our environment is small and caring; our staff work hard to ensure children love school and develop a lifelong love for learning.
We are driven by our 6 core Values, which feed into all that we do. Our Values are:
Friendship / Kindness
We believe that by showing these Values and teaching the children to embrace these as they develop, we can help children to become outstanding members of the community - these Values are for life, not just for the school year.
If you would like to come to school to see us in action, please speak myself or Helen Marks in the office.

-From a year 1 Parent:
After visiting the different options available in the area we chose Raunds Park Infants for our son for the same reason any parent does for their child’s 1st school. Yes, we did the usual; checked the Ofsted reports, asked friends and looked at what we could but for us it came down to something else.
And that was how we felt when we walked in, walked round and looked at the school. Such a positive place with what felt like real love and passion to making it a great place for all the boys and girls! And it helped that Max loved it!
Fast forward today, to nearly halfway through our son's time here and he has come on leaps and bounds. It’s so great to see him learning and developing, and really enjoying his time at Raunds Park Infants. He loves it and we can’t wait for his little brother to join him!
- From a Year 1 parent and Prior student:
My son started Park Infants school in 2014 and has since, gone on to St. Peter’s a happy confident little boy, I feel this is due to the amazing start he had at Park Infants. My daughter also started in 2016 and is heading down the same path. As soon as you walk through the door you feel welcome, all of the staff are approachable and I know my children are in safe and caring hands. I am always kept up to date with what they are learning about and also ways to get involved. The school has a positive family feel to it and every member of staff knows each child regardless of if they are in that class. I like the fact they work very closely with St. Peter’s so the transition is a smooth one when the time comes.
