New Starters

Welcome to our 'New Starters' webpage.

We are continuing to add to this page so please continue to visit it. We hope it helps familiarise your child with the Reception Team - in the same way we feel a sense of familiarity with TV & radio presenters, Youtubers and Instagrammer through regular contact. The stories and virtual tour of the classrooms will be  particularly helpful.

Welcome to Raunds Park Infant School

Still image for this video
We want to wish a very warm (if virtual) welcome to Raunds Park Infant School to all our new families. We are very pleased your child will be joining us in September 2020. This is a very unusual time for us, and we are having to think carefully about how to safely welcome our new families to school. Sadly we do not yet know what the arrangements for school will be in September, but will share our plans with you as soon as we know them! During June and July our priorities will be getting to know you and your child a little bit, and giving you opportunities to start to get to know us and the school.

Best wishes,

Mrs Jeffery, Head Teacher.

Welcome to Reception

We have created this page just for you and we hope you will find it really useful. We have included videos and photos, for you to view with your child including: a virtual tour of the Reception area and an introduction to each of the teachers as they read a story for your child. We will email you to let you know of additional information as we add it to this page. Meanwhile stay safe and we hope to see or hear from you soon.

Warm regards,

Mrs Maxwell, Foundation Stage Lead and Class Teacher.

"As a mum of three children buying uniform can get quite expensive but from experience I know how much fun, and how mucky, children get in Reception so I like to have more than one of each item just in case something needs to be put in the wash!”  Aimee Fearns,
