RAUNDS PARK INFANT SCHOOL ARE DOING THEMSELVES PROUD FOR SPORT RELIEF!
On 18th March 2016, Raunds Park Infant School will be raising some serious cash for Sport Relief at their Sport Relief Mile.
Raunds Park Infant School pupils and teachers will be taking on their own challenge by doing the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile. They will walk a mile around Raunds in aid of Sport Relief. The Local Mayor Helen Howell and members of The University of Northampton Men's Rugby Union Team will be joining in to raise as much money as possible for Sport Relief!
Richard Bosworth, Teacher at Raunds Park Infant School, said: “Students and teachers at Raunds Park Infant School love taking part in Sport Relief. It’s an excellent way to bring staff, students and the community together to get active, have fun and raise money for a great cause!”
The money pupils raise this Sport Relief, will help to change lives forever. That’s because Comic Relief spends the money raised by the public to give extremely vulnerable and disadvantaged people in London, the UK and throughout the world a helping hand to turn their lives around.
Those schools that haven’t already signed up can still get involved in Sport Relief 2016. As always, schools can organise a Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on Friday 18th March, but there are lots of other ways to join the fun and games too. The free School Fundraising Event Pack contains exclusive materials to help organise events.
